Oh! Hi again there. Seems like you’ve been curious enough to see what is inside this little space of mine. Well, don’t worry, I won’t bite. Come, have a sit. There is more room for just the two of us. Would you like to have some cupcakes? Lucky to have made some before you arrived. And oh! I almost forgot. Would you prefer coffee or tea? Just tell me what you want and I’ll have it prepared. Okay, now that you’ve come this far to visit. I’ll give you some points about myself. I have been reading a bunch of books, but not novels, for as long as I can remember. I started reading novels at the age of 15 due to my curiosity of how bookworms managed to endure reading a 2 inch thick book, without pictures, and finished it for at least a day. So, that’s where the title ‘When Curiosity Killed the Cat’ came in. Coming up with a good site title is more difficult compared to writing a long post or two. It didn’t just pop out of my head and lit a tiny light bulb saying ‘eureka’ as if out of the blue I just suddenly figured it out. I came up with this title entirely because I believe that some things are worth sticking your nose to. Like a good book with a mind-blowing plot and an erratic ending. I love to read random books as long as it has an interesting plot and a good writing style. You see, I love cute romances but I’m not the type to love too cheesy ones. I love getting lost with adventure themed books and I love getting back in time with a bunch of historical fictions. But most of all, I love books that are weird and whimsical. Something that would never fail to amaze me every time I turn a page or two. Who would not want that anyway? Well, it seems like your drink is getting cold and your cupcake is almost finished. I can tell, you’re getting bored already. I apologize for blabbering too much. Feel free to look around if you want to. Just don’t forget to close the door once you’re done. We don’t want nasty people entering the house, don’t we? Till the next time I see you then.
Hi! I’m Erika. I am a self-taught freelance digital artist and I write book reviews, mostly YA and NA. I’m a very random individual. And I believe that I was born a winter fey on my past life. Seriously. Talk nerdy to me.
Hi! I’m Beatrice of Confessions of a Pinay Bookaholic. I review books in random genres depending on my mood. Mostly I read YA/NA/Adult Contemporary Romance novels.
Run by a romance junkie with a fixation for cute and fluffy things. If you’re looking for books (of different genres) to satisfy the mischievous glint in your eyes, then you’ve come to the right place.
We are a community for book sharing and storytelling based in Manila, Philippines. Aside from reviews and recommended reads, we feature events, people and places; showcase original art and creative writing; connect books and reading to other hobbies and interests; sell books and accept consignment, and do vlogging. We also have geek out sessions on our Facebook group and run the #readingnation campaign, which is our way of contributing to cultivating a healthier reading culture here in the Philippines.
This is a blog of a girl who loves to read books and share them to people, recommend and say what I think about it. Started blogging in this blog just this August 2015 but have been blogging in another one for 5 years now.
A young adult book blog maintained by a proud Filipina, with some ramblings thrown in the mix. I’ve got book reviews, book rants, poorly thought-out jokes, the likes. Sometimes funny, always bookish, never serious, maybe clever. If you enjoy ramblings and YA, maybe I’ll have something that interests you.
My blog focuses on promoting books through book reviews, release dates, cover reveals and many more book related events.
The Bibliophile Confessions is a YA/NA book blog established in May 2014 due to Inah’s incomparable love for books. The blog mostly contains reviews, author intervies, book memes and other blog hops. Now, with the help of her co-blogger, Jem, The Bibliophile Confessions aims to promote and share their love for books and passion for reading throughout the world.
I started blogging since May 2014. I mostly post reviews of YA books.
